This sweet little one-bedroom hideaway was SO wonderful to stay at. She was very communicative anytime I reached out to her with questions or concerns. I was actually recommended to her listing by a previous host as my reservation needed to be canceled last minute due to some plumbing issues and I am so thankful to have been able to stay here and reserve this listing in such a short amount of time. What could have been a huge stressor was made much easier by Kelsey's quick responses and the recommendation of her friend. I greatly enjoyed having my coffee on the porch swing most mornings and the comfy, cute bed I got to rest in every night. I would most certainly stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wow! What a perfect gem of an apartment! It was exactly what I needed for my stay. It was evident that the hosts care about their guests by paying attention to every detail. From the charming design (love the shiplap! Where’d you get those ottomans?) to the immaculate cleanliness and recent renovation, every aspect was carefully considered. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, the Nest thermostat works perfectly, and the washer and dryer are very convenient. I also felt very secure and the neighborhood was definitely safe. The door entry codes are easy to use but super secure. I could not have asked for anything more and would not have changed a thing. Thank you so much for providing me with a place to rest after long days of taking care of a sick relative. I will definitely book again if I return to BR. :)

Little Bee's Boho Retreat is definitely a gem in mid-city. This is our 3rd time staying at this property and it never disappoints. We love how cozy and comfortable it is and that it allows pets. It has everything you need for a long weekend in Baton Rouge and it's an easy trek to LSU. Kelsey is a fantastic host and we love renting from her!

Home was exactly as described and presented on the app! Cozy spot with a full kitchen and easy access. Kelsey was a great host! A couple FYI's for future guests. There is no recycling available, though I believe this is a shortcoming of the neighborhood and not the home. The kitchen comes fully equipped but does not include any spices or oils for cooking. Not an issue, I just wanted to call it out as I have come across this in other homes. Overall a great experience, we will be back!

Very much satisfied! Kelsey responded within minutes whenever I reached out. We had one little mishap, more like technical problems. Code would not work on entry door. It was after midnight. Thank goodness for the other family in the apartment A!!! Kelsey did respond in a timely manner, and had it fixed before we even woke the next morning and left us a gift card for the inconvenience.

Kelsey’s place was a perfect little retreat in an awesome neighborhood! Communication was beyond great- I was having one of those days where nothing seemed to be going right and no matter the issue or the time- I never had to wait more than 5 minutes before Kelsey was there ready to do whatever she could to help. Even things that weren’t in her control, her only concern was that during the time I was staying there-that I was completely happy, comfortable and satisfied. This is a host(ess?) that went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay. The roof could have caved in and I think Kelsey still would have found a way to make it right. We used to live in Baton Rouge and were in town visiting friends. It can be tough to find a place to stay that feels very safe that is also affordable and comfortable. Kelsey’s place was beautiful, charming and ridiculously comfortable. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood in a very safe part of town. Lots of restaurants, grocery, and entertainment near by. Definitely recommend and will be looking to book anytime we come back to visit!

The apartment is very cozy and as described. It’s a quiet street near lots of great restaurants and bars. The bed is very comfortable (the pillows are a bit flat) but we slept great nonetheless. My husband and I both worked from the apartment for a week without issue. For a long term stay, the kitchen is very well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and dishes. Kelsey was very responsive and flexible when our plans changed unexpectedly. We will miss watching the sunsets on the porch. We hope to be back soon!

The apartment was in a good location; however, it was much smaller than expected from the photos. We were looking for a place that allowed dogs, and Kelsey was very accommodating. We appreciate the prompt responses and direct communication leading up to... and during our stay. The apartment was well-decorated and clean. Kelsey let us know that the couch may be damp because it was shampooed prior to our arrival. That was good to know; however, the cushions were very wet. The wetness had soaked into the pull-out bed mattress and sheets. We did message Kelsey about this upon our arrival. That was disappointing, but overall we had a good experience.

Kelsey was a very nice host and extremely responsive. She provided a nice manual to maneuver through the home and provided welcome guests gifts, super cute and thoughtful. Although you have your own entry way to the Airbnb unit with its own self check-in, you are sharing the building structure that looks like a single family home on the outside. If you’re thinking huh, then let me explain: when you arrive and park in front of the home, keep in mind entire home structure is not just for you. Upon arrival to the house’s front door, there is a smart lock check in to use your code and then you enter and immediately walk into the home’s foyer with a split floor plan - 2 separate units one upstairs and the other downstairs. We stayed in the upstairs unit which also had its own smart lock with a code and the downstairs unit have its own as well. The upstairs unit looks like it was a room that was turned into a fully functional efficiency style and fully equipped kitchen, room with a door, etc. to get the ground level for the backyard are stairs as well. So if you are not a fan of stairs, or this unit style, keep this in mind. We didn’t mind the stairs or the set up since it was for a mini weekend getaway. The guests that checked in later during our first night downstairs was a huge family with kids, so you could hear everything going on through the vents and walls in the home/building itself. Overall, it is nice, cozy and very inviting unit and we would still stay here again for another short mini getaway! It is worth the stay!

We had another wonderful stay at one of Kelsey’s lovely properties! Our time in Baton Rouge was so enjoyable at Little Bee’s Boho Retreat. We had everything we needed, including fast wifi for working and for streaming videos … and a washer & dryer! The neighborhood is perfect—quiet and safe with very friendly neighbors. The decor is so well done that my colleagues complimented my background in nearly every zoom meeting I attended. What a plus! And when you stay, don’t miss the chance to relax in the seat that hangs on the back porch. It was such nice little spot to enjoy a peaceful sunset. We rented this unit to come watch an LSU football game. The unit was extremely clean and had a beautiful boho vibe, Kelsey was incredibly communicative and answered all of our questions promptly, and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Just an FYI if you are coming for the same reason - it was about a 15-20 min drive from campus, but with traffic took us a little longer. That being said, we loved staying in this unit and would absolutely do so again. It was an added and appreciated bonus that we were able to bring our dog with us instead of having to board him. I cannot recommend this rental enough. You are in great hands!
